White Plains Eye Surgery is staffed with a brother & sister team of Ophthalmologists, Dr. Kristin & Dr. Michael Pisacano as well as their esteemed colleague, Dr. Tara Sweeney.

Dr. Kristin Pisacano

Biography

Kristin Pisacano, M.D., grew up in Rye, New York where she graduated from the Rye Country Day School.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree cum laude from Dartmouth College and went on to Dartmouth Medical School to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree.  After her medical internship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Kristin was trained as a resident in Ophthalmology at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City, and completed a prestigious fellowship in LASIK at the world renowned Zalvidar Institute in Argentina.







Dr. Michael A. Pisacano

Biography

Michael A. Pisacano, M.D., is also a graduate of the Rye Country Day School.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Holy Cross.  He earned his degree of Doctor of Medicine from the Chicago Medical School where he was honored with the Dean’s Award.  After a medical internship at Yale University/Norwalk Hospital, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.






Dr. Tara Sweeney

Biography

Dr. Tara Sweeney, M.D., grew up in Westport Connecticut.  She graduated high school from Greens Farms Academy.  She earned her bachelor's degree Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and her medical degree from Brown Medical School.  She did her medical internship at Yale University/Norwalk Hospital and completed her Ophthalmology training at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital where she was Chief Resident.  During that time she published  "The Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Guide to Ophthalmology" which continues to be an important resource for residents and attending physicians.  She followed her training by joining Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx where she became the Director of Ophthalmology.
